Linda Derksen

Born in Randwijk, in the Betuwe, I began drawing and painting at a young age. From childhood, I was fascinated by faces and would sketch my family, classmates, as well as images from books and magazines.

In 2012, I decided to become a full-time artist. I acquired knowledge and skills through various means, including masterclasses from instructors at the Wackers Academy and the Classical Academy. Currently, I also conduct courses and workshops in my own studio.

My favorite subjects include the people around me, the plants and flowers in my garden, and the beaches of North Holland where I often stay. Using various materials such as pencil, charcoal, watercolor, and oil paint, I create paintings and drawings in a realistic style.
